lyrics

Cavalcade of Chaos

Looking for an angle for another axe to grind
Searching with my fingers at the bottom of the sky
Down behind the river where the precious metals glow
There’s a painting of a mission done in shadows I don’t know

That which has been hidden and is bound to disappear
Has been voted down for one too many years
But I still keep on waiting with my palms pressed to the glass
Wishing for the urge to stay to pass

This cavalcade of chaos is just a waiting dream
Drowning in the mouth of what it seems

Now the brave are weeping they are dead against the storm
They don’t want to gamble on tomorrow anymore
Holding down the feeling the fate of the unborn
Rests until the moment pilgrims go to war

All that has been hidden and is bound to disappear
Has been voted down for one too many years
But I still keep on waiting with my palms pressed to the glass
Wishing for the urge to stay to pass

This cavalcade of chaos is just a waiting dream
Drowning in the mouth of what it seems
